BUT...STOP!  Think through this decision for a moment!  Do you really want to give $700, $800, $1,000 a month to a landlord?

I would think not.  You'd rather pay that monthly rental money to yourself.  How?  Buy your own home!  Not Sure?  Read on!

Now I'm not saying: "Don't Rent under any circumstances"!  I moved 17 times in a 20 year military career.  Many times it is preferable to rent for short periods of time.  Especially if you're going to be somewhere for only a few months.

But...even if you are only going to be here a couple of years, with the current housing market headed up, you will be much better off buying your own home and paying yourself.  I have two and three bedroom homes and condos whith a choice of one or two bathrooms available immediately.

But, you say: "What happens when I leave.  Will you be able to sell my home?"  I would say: "Look at it from a money-making perspective.  When your ready to leave, I'll consult with you on putting your home on the market at a price that will make for a successful move.  However, you may want to rent it, making a monthly profit on the rental while someone else pays your mortgage and helps you build equity!"

And, what's really great?  if you ever return to FLW, you have a home already waiting for you!!!

And, if it is your first home purchase, the Federal Government wants to give you up to $8,000 to buy a home!!!  But you must act before April 30, 2010, and close on your new home by June 30, 2010.  That's the deadline for the new 10% Tax Credit program.   And, even better, you don't have to repay the money!!!*

Current home owner?  $6,500 in tax credits could be yours if you buy a home by April 30, 2010, and have lived in your current home at least five years.  Need more information on tax credits?  Contact me: rjdick@century21.com.

Are you current or retired military? I can put you in your dream home for Zero down, 100% financing, and most likely, with Seller paying your closing costs.

Not military?  Perhaps the Rural Development Program will work for you.  Like VA, it is Zero down, 100% financing.  Ask me about it!

So if you're coming to FLW and thinking about renting for 1, 2, 3, or how many years, talk to me about buying your own home and paying yourself!!!

Just click here: rjdick@century21.com and let me handle the rest!
